At Foundation of Life, we strive to reach out to the least, the last, and to the lost. One huge way we do this is through missions. We have several projects for people to get involved either through financial support or actual hands-on support.
The 180 Center
One of our passions is helping men break free from a lifestyle of drugs and alcohol. We offer them a life of freedom through the love of Jesus. This is a 6 month live-in program where we provide for the necessities of these men while they learn and grow through the Word of God.
Dominican Republic
Our hearts have fallen in love with the people of the Dominican Republic especially the children of San Cristobal. We help feed the children of the Pon de Vida (Bread of Life) Orphanage daily through the financial support of your giving. We have taken mission teams there the last two years and will be returning in August 2009. While there, we help to personally feed and care for the children, assist in medical outreaches, construction improvements, and street ministry. If you are interested in donating to this ministry please email info@foundationoflifechurch.com. Nuevo Laredo
Another area we seek to touch is just south of our Texas border in Nuevo Laredo. In December 2008, we traveled there to bless the children of that area with Christmas presents and their parents with bean and rice. The response was overwhelming, and we were not only able to offer these gifts to them, but the gift of Jesus as well. While we were there, we were introduced to a pastor whose wife died very unexpectedly. He was raising his children alone and only living in the bottom half of his home without any bedrooms. Before leaving, Pastor Lipsey knew this was an area where we wanted to help. In February 2009, the men of our church returned to put a roof on the home of this very special family so that they would be able to use the top half of their home. We are thankful that God allowed us to be a blessing. Click here to view pics of the Mission Construction Trip.
Our Troops
We are appreciative of our nations troops here and abroad and are thankful for their service. We want to remember them as they are away ensuring our freedom. We do this through letters, pictures, cards, care packets, and prayers. We have a continual board to display pictures of those soldiers closest to our hearts so that we may lift them up in our prayers.
