At Foundation of Life, we strive to reach out to the least, the last, and to the lost. One huge way we do this is through missions. We have several projects for people to get involved either through financial support or actual hands-on support.
The 180 Center
One of our passions is helping men break free from a lifestyle of drugs and alcohol. We offer them a life of freedom through the love of Jesus. This is a 6 month live-in program where we provide for the necessities of these men while they learn and grow through the Word of God.
Dominican Republic
Our hearts have fallen in love with the people of the Dominican Republic especially the children of San Cristobal. We help feed the children of the Canaan's Land Ministry and feeding center daily through the financial support of your giving. We also take mission teams there and help personally feed and care for the children, assist in medical outreaches, construction improvements, and street ministry. International Breaking the Chains
We are excited that a home for women overcoming addictions has opened in Waxahachie as of January 1, 2012.We have the opportunity to be hands-on with this group of women and pour into their lives weekly.
Nuevo Laredo
Another area we seek to touch is just south of our Texas border in Nuevo Laredo. In December, we bless the children of that area with Christmas presents and their parents with beans and rice. The response is truly overwhelming, and we are not only able to offer these gifts to them, but the gift of Jesus as well.
Our Troops
We are appreciative of our nations troops here and abroad and are thankful for their service. We want to remember them as they are away ensuring our freedom. We do this through letters, pictures, cards, care packets, and prayers. We have a continual board to display pictures of those soldiers closest to our hearts so that we may lift them up in our prayers.
